About Us

We foster student organizations for animal advocacy.

We believe that a more compassionate world is possible when youth leaders are empowered. Our vision is nothing less than the abolition of speciesism and of cruelty to human and nonhuman animals.

Allied Scholars for Animal Protection (ASAP) is a national program that educates, trains, and mobilizes student advocates in the field of animal protection. We provide the infrastructure, organization, and resources that enable students to effectively advocate for human and nonhuman animals alike.

We are a non-profit dedicated to the defense of human and non-human animals.

We believe in:

  • Protecting the environment in which we all live

  • Introducing young people to the idea that “how it’s always been” is not necessarily the way it should be

  • Advancing technological solutions that eliminate the “need” for products that harm animals

  • Promoting healthy plant-based diets

  • Persuading those who eat, wear, or harm animals to instead defend the creatures who cannot defend themselves
